You might also look at the Virtual Desktop PC app which can play 360 videos. And perhaps the VLC player has info on that and possibly a way to do the conversion itself. Maybe there's a way to convert an (over and under) into an equirectangular video. If you have an ( over under) video, you might research that since I never use or encounter that format. You can check Google to learn about that. YouTube 360 videos have their own special format. I never heard of a Cardboard video since a Cardboard headset can play regular equirectangular videos. The Cardboard app can decode all that and show you a regular 360 stereo photo. Google Cardboard photos have an unusual format where half of the file contains part of the image and the other part of the file contains the other part of the image plus other data. Cube Map is another type of possible projection type. The GoPro VR player (in its menu) lets you choose between Cube Map, Equirectangular and default. Maybe there's something unusual about your video if you saw over and under. Even Adobe Premiere only works with equirectangular videos because that's the common 360 media format these days.
